2007
January 2, 2007 - Kristen's birthday. She turned 23.
January 9, 2007 - I turned 19 (and so did Kayla of course lol). I've decided 19 is such an odd age. You're already legal, yet you're not 21. You're not even in your 20's yet! Also, Michelle came down for my birthday!
February 15, 2007 - Kristen and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert! I was so excited to go and I had a great time! Rascal Flatts is great live (most country singers are) and it was fun to bond with my sister...always is!
February 17, 2007 - Michelle, Laura, and I went to see Because I Said So in the theaters. It was cute...not great or anything though. I actually like Mandy Moore, though her acting isn't the best. It was a cute mother/daughter movie...plus, you gotta love Gabriel Macht who is super cute!
March 9, 2007 - Both Kristen and Kayla came down to visit me at school. Kayla was on her "spring break" at the time so they both came down and we watched a movie and hung out.
May 23, 2007 - My freshman year of college officially ended. I was glad in a way to see it end (because of the whole roommate situation that past fall) and it was good not being a freshman anymore!
May 27, 2007 - We went to the Orioles and A's game while our Aunt was visiting from Massachusetts. Go O's?
June - August 2007 - I was back at camp working with my favorite group, the Pathfinders! It was an interesting summer to say the least but you gotta love working with kids.
June 26, 2007 - Derek's Jeter's birthday and a trip to the Orioles and Yankees game! I had begged my dad to get tickets to that game since January and he did! I was really excited since it was Derek's birthday and I got to see my favorite team play!
July 4, 2007 - Megan and I went to see Transformers at the theater and the movie was great! I didn't really know much about it before I went but I do like Shia LeBeouf and Josh Duhamel so it couldn't be that bad. I was really glad I went though, the movie was great!
July 12, 2007 - We went to the Zoo for camp. It was chaotic but still fun. We didn't get to see the lions (my favorite animal) but I had fun and I know the kids enjoyed it too.
July 15, 2007 - It was Megan's birthday so we went to see License to Wed in the theater. It was funny and cute but not that great of a movie. I wouldn't buy it or anything but it wasn't horrible to watch either. Plus I like Mandy Moore and John Krasinski.
July 26-August 1, 2007 - The family and I headed down to Myrtle Beach for vacation. We played golf, saw an amazing show, went to Planet Hollywood for dinner one night and played golf some more. Also, my dad and I went to the beach one day so I could take some pictures. The vacation was filled with long car rides and scorching heat but we still had fun!
August 10, 2007 - The family and I went to the Orioles and Red Sox game and originally had seats in the MASN box but once we got there, we were given other seats right behind home plate if we wanted. Of course my family wanted to sit down there...the Red Sox were playing! Even though it was the Red Sox, it was still a fun game to watch nonetheless.
August 17, 2007 - High School Musical 2 premiered on the Disney Channel. I don't care how old you are, you must know about this movie. I won't lie, I even watched! All day long the kids in my [camp] group kept telling me HSM2 was on tonight. I watched (and liked it! haha).
August 27, 2007 - It was my Mom's birthday but that was also the day classes started for my sophomore year! I also saw Hairspray in the theaters that day with Michelle and Amanda (great movie!).
September 28, 2007 - My dad got tickets to the Yankees and Orioles game once again. We had pretty good seats too (16 rows behind the Orioles' dugout).
September 29, 2007 - I had gone home for the weekend so my sister invited me to go to a Army Concert Tour featuring Montgomery Gentry (gotta love country music!). I had a great time. Joe Nichols, who I also like, opened up for Montgomery Gentry so that was great to see too!
November 20, 2007 - I came home for Thanksgiving break. It's always good to get a break from school and not have to worry about the stress either.
December 6, 2007 - The first snowfall of the year!
December 7, 2007 - Eric Church (a country singer) came to play at my school.
December 13, 2007 - Even though finals started on the 12th, I was already done with my 5 (well only 3 written finals) on the 13 so I came home and the fall semester was officially over for me.
December 15, 2007 - My dad and I went and picked out the Christmas tree. It was a little short and stubby but it was cute and I picked it out!
December 16, 2007 - I made Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint cookies, which turned out delicious may I add! I don't normally bake too often but I decided that while I'm home for winter break I was going to bake and cook more and this was the first thing I decided to make!
December 18, 2007 - I was back in the kitchen making my first "real" meal for dinner which was Baked Pasta with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Cheese. It was very tasty!
December 25, 2007 - Christmas. I got tons of great gifts: Supernatural Season 2 on DVD, gift cards, a poster, body spray, books, Yankees PJ pants, a Yankees fleece, DVDs, a CD...I'm sure there's stuff I forgot!
December 26, 2007 - Megan and I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets in the theater! It is such a great movie...I loved it! If you liked the first National Treasure, you'll like this one too!
December 31, 2007 - New Year's Eve. The last day before 2008. And here I am writing in my blog. I just want to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
I saw it today and I LOVED it! It's just as interesting as the first and you gotta love the humor in it too. It's such a great movie!!!! I definitely recommend you see if you if you've seen the first one and liked it. And if you haven't seen the first one, rent it, then go see this one! haha =)

It's Christmas Eve Eve
So I'm really bored so I thought I would write something in my wonderful blog [that no one reads]. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and well I'm not entirely looking forward to sitting in church for an hour (from 11-12) but hey, it's tradition right? I'm really excited for Christmas and well, I always am! I will never get rid of the little kid feeling...I will always be excited for Christmas!
Anyways, so Kayla thinks I'm addicted to Heroes and well...she's right! haha...I'm becoming obsessed with this show and that's not good! It's just so interesting and well gosh-darnit, I think everyone should watch it!
More randomness, I've been listening to Christmas music all day! I frosted cookies today and if I do say so myself, they are pretty tasty! I didn't exactly make the dough but I pressed down the cookie cutters which takes so much effort ya know? Hard work I tell ya.
Happy Holidays to anyone who reads this blog. =)

The Dead Zone...being cancelled!?
Gahh, I'm so mad! I can't believe they are cancelling the Dead Zone! This is such a great show and Anthony Michael Hall does an amazing job in it and he's so fun to watch! First I had to deal with the loss of one of my favorite characters when they killed him off now I can't even watch the show anymore cause it's being cancelled!?...big mistake!!!

Survivor finale!
Congrats to Todd! I wanted him to win and I'm really glad he did!
It kind of sucks that Amanda won the last immunity challenge cause she really had no shot at winning in the end so it didn't matter who she took and voted off. She got 1 vote, while Courtney got 2, and Todd got 4. I thought Todd played a true-Survivor game and was very strategic. Yeah he may have back-stabbed some people but that's what you have to do to get far in the game.
This season was very interesting. I loved James and I'm glad he won the 100,000 dollars. I was kind of shocked to hear that Jaime and Erik are actually dating! He could do so much better! Erik is gorgeous too haha...he's so sweet and innocent and Jaime is sneaky and mean. Maybe she's a better person because of the show? Anyways, great season. Next season looks great too! Fans vs. Favorites...that should be very interesting!...I can't wait! =)

I'm offically addicted to this show. I got out Disc 1 and 2 from Season 1 and I'm loving it so far! The characters are so interesting and the storylines tie you in! Great show so far! =)

A Very Supernatural Christmas - my review
Holy crap...I loved it! I thought this was such a great episode! It had everything: creepy "monsters", flashbacks, brotherly-love, humor, and the edge-of-your-seat excitement! The "evil" Santa was definitely creepy...I mean stealing people from their homes up the chimney!? I loved the flashback with the brothers cause it was great to see Dean care so much for Sam. That's great that Sam gave Dean the necklace; I'm glad we finally found out how he got it. Aw and then he went to so much trouble to get gifts for Sam...even though he stole them haha. Back to big Sam and Dean...I felt bad for Sam since he didn't wanna accept the fact that it might be his brother's last Christmas (awww!). And Dean, Mr. Gung-Ho Christmas. I loved the fact at the end that Sam actually bought a little Christmas tree and decorated it. And it was so cute that they exchanged gifts...awww! I couldn't help but laugh when Dean was about to get his tooth pulled and the doorbell rang and he was like mumbling "Are you gonna get that? You should get that" or something along those lines haha. Omg and I loved when Dean kept saying 'fudge'n...sooo funny!! GREAT eppy!
My favorite quotes from A Very Supernatural Christmas -
[Dean to shop owner]
Dean: We were playing Jenga over at the Walsh's the other night, and he hasn't shut up about this Christmas wreath. I don't know. [looks over to Sam] You tell him.
Sam: Sure. [Sam pauses, to look at shop owner] It was yummy.
Santa's Elf: Welcome to Santa's Court. Can I escort your child to Santa?
Dean: Um, no. But actually, uh, my brother here, it's been a life long dream of his.
[Sam gives confused look]
Santa's Elf: I'm sorry, no kids over 12.
Sam: He's just kidding. We only came here to watch.
[Dean smirks and shakes his head]
Santa's Elf: Ewww.
Dean: Wreaths, huh? Sure you didn't want to ask her about her shoes? I saw some nice handbags in the foyer.
Dean: Sam, why are you the boy that hates Christmas?
Dean: [holding up gifts] Look at this. Fuel for me and fuel for my baby!
Dean: You fudge'n touch me again, I'll fudge'n kill you!
Sam: [getting off the phone with Bobby] Well, we're not dealing with the anti-Claus.
Dean: What'd Bobby say?
Sam: Uh, that we're morons.

Mark's injury update!
Holy moly! I just read that he actually dislocated his shoulder during the dance!...and he still stuck with it for Sabrina...wow what a guy!
from TVguide.com
It's a dislocated left shoulder for Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas, who suffered the injury last night during the show's finale doing the cha cha cha with his celebrity partner — and real-life love interest — Sabrina Bryan. Ballas went in for an M.R.I. Wednesday afternoon to determine whether surgery is needed to repair the damage, according to his father, ballroom great Corky Ballas.
"If you watch the tape," says Ballas, "you can actually see Mark grab his left shoulder during the dance. He actually danced that whole number with a dislocated shoulder. It happened right after he turned her under his left arm."
Following his performance, the young dance star was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors manipulated his shoulder back into place. "That was really tough, watching him go through that," says his father. "He'd been uncomfortable for a couple of days and we thought he had torn a muscle."
Bryan, who was required to stay in the studio audience for the duration of the finale, rushed to the hospital after the show was over. "When Sabrina got there, he felt much better," says Ballas' father. "It was like an instant fix, an early Christmas present." The elder Ballas, who has witnessed their blossoming relationship, says his son had been in a world of pain. "One of the things they have together is the laughter factor, which is good for the soul. I believe you heal faster when you're laughing. And those two are always laughing."
Another source of pain was that these two were at the hospital when the rest of the Dancing cast and crew were at a Hollywood nightclub for the goodbye party. When Sabrina told Mark that she had presents to give to all of them, Mark said, "I want to get dressed and come with you," according to his father. So at 2 a.m., Ballas and Bryan went to the wrap party. They stayed only 15 minutes and then Ballas went home to bed. "He's sleeping now," says his father.
Still to be determined is how long Ballas will be off the dance floor and whether his injury will cause him to miss the Dancing with the Stars 37-city national tour, which kicks off December 18th. Rehearsals for the tour, which include 8 hour-a-day dance sessions, began in earnest last Monday.
"Hasn't this been the wildest, craziest season?" asks Corky Ballas. "And now, to top it all off with Mark's injury? Talk about drama."

Aww...poor Mark :(
While watching Sabrina and Mark dance last night, I immediately saw that he wasn't moving his left arm as much as he should have been while doing certain moves. I kept saying that something was wrong with his arm and I just read on TVguide.com that he has a torn muscle in his shoulder. I can't believe he was dancing with a torn muscle. That must have hurt like hell...but I guess he didn't wanna let Sabrina down which is so sweet! I hope he's okay though!
from TVguide.com:
Pro dancer Mark Ballas, who wowed the crowd again doing his show-stopping cha cha cha with the much-missed Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan was whisked off to the hospital immediately after their performance. He had been in some distress for two days with a sore shoulder. "Something kind of funky was happening," says Bryan, who was anxious to join Ballas at the hospital after the show. "But he's a true competitor. And even though we weren't competing tonight, he wanted to have our last performance. He was not going to let anyone know."
But Jane Seymour knew. "He shouldn't have been dancing," she said after the show. "He's hurt himself." Mark Cuban knew, too. "His father told me that he's got a torn muscle in his shoulder, and it's really, really painful," says Cuban. "It happens to basketball players all the time and it takes a while to heal."
The worry now is that Ballas — and, by extension, Bryan — may have to be scratched from the Dancing with the Stars national tour, which begins mid-December.

Helio won on DWTS!!!
I can't believe I forgot to write about the Monday night show! Well here's what I thought: I thought both Helio and Mel rocked the freestyle, even though they were a little cruel to Mel and Maks about theirs. Marie's freestyle was...interesting. It was creative (I'll give her that) but it was so boring and there was nothing exciting about it. Also, the fact that Marie should NOT have even been in the finals was another whole story! Wow...Helio rocked his freestyle - I loved it! I also thought he should have gotten better scores for his jive (I thought it was great!)
For Tuesday's results show: I'm so glad Marie came in 3rd (finally America...we did something right!). It was such a huge toss up between Helio and Mel but I've been pulling for Helio since the beginning and I'm soooo glad he won! He definitely deserves it too! He has NO dancing experience before the show and he's done such an amazing job and so has Julianne! They were such a great couple to watch! Congrats Helio and Julianne!!!!!

Want to write...
I have nothing to actually write about, I just felt like writing something! This weekend has been kind of boring but I enjoy the quiet times. I finally finished Season 1 of NCIS so I was really happy about that! Watching the first season makes me like the show even more. I still haven't seen like half of Season 2 but hopefully I will one day! It's kind of weird just starting in the middle of Season 2 and watching from then on...so now watching the earlier episodes is kind of cool cause I learn more about the characters!
I've been thinking a lot about photography and cameras lately! I have also been talking to my dad about certain cameras and it's killing me that I can't get one for a while. I know I need to save up some money (which I've semi-done this summer) but I want it now! I don't wanna sound greedy or anything haha but I've been on Flickr.com a lot lately and that just makes me want a camera even more. Just looking at those pictures makes me wanna go outside and shoot! I'll admit, I don't know a lot of the "photography terms" but I want to learn! I've been playing around with my camera now, trying out shutter speeds and different angles...I just want to have fun!
More randomness, I watched Spiderman 3 last night! I thought it was pretty good! The movie was a little slow at some parts but the ending was great!
Ahh, I can't wait until Thanksgiving break! I'm going home Tuesday after class and then I think I'm gonna go with my Mom to pick up Kayla, who's getting a ride halfway home lol. I'm just excited to take a break from everything. I mean, there's nothing specific or anything, I just wanna go home...see the family and relax! I'm not gonna bring a lot of school work (probably one 1 or 2 things) so that's good! I also think I'm gonna get my hair layered!! I'm really nervous about it too! I want to get long layers all around, so hopefully you'll be able to see the black underneath in the back - I hope it looks good!
Okay, we'll I'm running out of things to type about haha. I just saw a preview for the movie Enchanted and it looks really good! Haha, okay...I'm done!

Fresh Blood - my review
Wow, what can I say? I thought it was a great episode! Gordon comes back, ready to kill! I'm kind of curious how he got out of jail but whatever haha. I can't believe Bela sold Sam and Dean out! However...she did redeem herself and helped them out after, so I was glad about that (because I like her character!).
Ew, Gordon as a vampire - creepy and gross! His eyes were nasty to look at! That kind of stinks he got turned into a vampire (the thing he hated most) but that played out for a good storyline. The whole scene where Sam is in the dark and Gordon is "hunting" him was great; it was really intense! Ewww, that was definitely one of the grossest deaths I have ever seen on the show; I had to turn away! I'm glad Sam killed him, however, it seemed like he didn't hesitate. I guess we'll just have to see what happens with Sam.
I loved the brother moments between Sam and Dean and they're still funny as always! Aww it was so cute at the end when Dean was teaching Sam how to fix his car. Such brotherly love there and I'm glad to see it back in the show.
My favorite quotes from Fresh Blood -
Gordon: Sam Winchester’s the antichrist.
Bela: Ooh. I’d heard something about that…
Gordon: It’s true.
Bela: …from the Easter Bunny. Who heard it from the Tooth Fairy.
Dean: It’s just another day at the office...a massively dangerous day at the office.
Dean: What do you want me to do, Sam, huh? Sit around all day writing sad poems about how I’m going to die? You know what, I’ve got one. Let’s see, what rhymes with "Shut up, Sam"?
Sam: It's just I wish you would drop the show and be my big brother again. Cause... just cause.
^^awwwww!!! :(
Sam: You know what, man? I'm sick and tired of your old stupid kamikaze trick.
Dean: Whoa, whoa. Kamikaze? I'm more like a ninja.
Sam: That's not funny.
Dean: It's a little funny.
Sam: No, it's not.
Sam: What's with the auto shop?
[Dean extends a tool to Sam to fix the Impala]
Sam: You don't mean, you want...
Dean: Yeah, I do. You fix it.
Sam: Dean, you barely let me drive this thing.
Dean: Well, it's time. You should know how to fix it. You're going to need to know these things for the future. And besides, it's my job, right. Show my little brother the ropes.
Dean: Well, what can I say? I'm a badass.

Red Sky at Morning - my review
I absolutely loved it! Definitely another favorite! The storyline was very creepy: Sam and Dean investigate drowning victims who were no where near water when they "drowned". And I loved Bela! A lot of people don't like her but I think she's pretty good on the show! Yeah she causes trouble for the boys but it's funny when she does it! Bela and Dean are hilarious together! She gives the boys a run for their money and I like that! I loved how Sam was being hit on by a 70-year old lady! I definitely give this episode at 10/10! Next week's episode looks great too: GORDON'S BACK!
My favorite quotes from Red Sky at Morning -
[about Bela]
Dean: Can I shoot her?
Sam: Not in public.
Bela: What do you suggest?
Dean: I’m thinking…
Bela: Don’t strain yourself.
Bela: You know, when this is over, we should really have angry sex.
Dean: [after a long pause] Don't objectify me.
Bela: [to Dean] I didn't want you thinking...you're not very good at that. Oh, look at you, searching for a witty rejoinder.
Dean: Screw you.
Bela: Very Oscar Wilde.
Sam: You shot me.
Bela: I barely grazed you.
[Dean rolls eyes]
Bela: Cute. But a bit of a drama queen, yeah?
Dean: So what happens? You see the ship and then a few hours later you pucker up and kiss your ass goodbye?
Sam: Basically.

Bedtime Stories - my review
I thought Bedtime Stories was great! I love the fact that the episode dealt with fairytales...so fun and interesting! The episode was funny too! I loved when Sam was "sketching" the attacker for the guy in the hospital and it turns out he drew a funny cartoon! I also loved the part when Sam was talking about fairytales and Dean was like "Could you be any more gay [pause] don't answer that"...It was a good episode for Dean and Sam to work together though Sam insists on finding a way to save Dean. Great eppy!
My favorite quotes from Bedtime Stories -
Sam: [gesturing to pumpkin on porch] Hey, check that out.
Dean: Yeah? It's close to Halloween.
Sam: You remember Cinderella? The pumpkin that turns into a coach and the mice that become horses?
Dean: Dude! Could you be more gay? [pause] Don't answer that.
Sam: I've got a theory...sort of.
Dean: Hit me.
Sam: Well, thinking about fairy tales.
Dean: Oh, that’s... that's nice. You think about fairy tales often?

Sabrina voted off DWTS...I still don't believe it!
Holy crap...I still don't believe it!!! Sabrina was voted off last night and I'm still shocked!!! I think everyone is! She was one of my favorites! I didn't exactly want her to win the competition though because I don't think it's fair that she's already a dancer. My pick is for Helio to win but I wanted it to be Helio and Sabrina in the final two! Aww, and how cute was her partner Mark!? So adorable...I'm more sad to see HIM go haha ;)

Sin City - my review
Okay, so it was the fourth episode of the season for Supernatural, and though it wasn't one of my favorites, I did like it a lot! There was just something missing in the episode though. I can't quite put my finger on it but it was missing that "it" factor. I liked the turn of events when Sam had to look for Dean for a change but on the other hand, I didn't like the fact that they spilt up for most of the episode. I have to admit, I was a little bored at some parts (I thought I'd never say that!). The whole Dean/Casey conversation seemed to drag on forever! It was interesting because she revealed a lot of information but I feel like that scene could have been better without all that dialect. I'm still up in the air about Ruby. I like her, then I don't. She's interesting in one scene and annoying in another. It will be interesting to see where her character takes the show though! Next week's episode looked pretty good - a little creepy!...I can't wait!
My favorite quotes from Sin City -
Dean: [trying an exorcism from memory] Spiritus emundi, undalara, persona tote… [trails off, lost]
Casey: Nice try but I think you just ordered a pizza.
Casey: You Winchester boys are famous. Not Lohan famous, but you know.

TV Guide interview with Jensen Ackles
TV Guide: I hear you good buddies hit golf balls together. Who's better?
Ackles: Well, I definitely play a lot more than he does. In fact, I introduced him to it just a few months ago. I got him out there and I bought the biggest box of balls you could possibly find and he ended up losing every one of them, which was funny. He might beat me at hoops, because he's taller than me.
TV Guide: You're not so short yourself, it's just that Jared's sort of a giant.
Ackles: Yeah, I'm 6'1" and he makes me look like a midget! It lends itself to an interesting situation between us on set and the brothers on the show. Dean's such a short-tempered hothead, but he's also not nearly as big as Sam is. [Laughs]

Also very true...(Yankees ♥)
Four baseball fans - a Cubs fan, a Cardinals fan, a Yankees fan, and a Red Sox fan - are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves their team more. The Cubs fan insists he is the most loyal. "This is for the Cubs!" he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Cardinals fan shouts, "This is for the Cardinals!" and throws himself off the mountain. The Yankees fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells, "This is for everyone!" and pushes the Red Sox fan off the mountain.
So very true...(Yankees ♥)
On the first day of school a first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Red Sox fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Red Sox fans. Wanting to impress their teacher, everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?" "Because I'm not a Red Sox fan," she replied. The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Red Sox fan, then who are you a fan of?" "I am a Yankees fan, and proud of it," Janie replied. The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, why pray tell are you a Yankees fan?" "Because my mom is a Yankees fan, and my dad is Yankees fan, so I'm a Yankees fan too!"..."We'll," said the teacher in a obviously annoyed tone, "that is no reason for you to be a Yankees fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mom were an idiot and your dad were a moron, what would you be then?" "Then," Janie smiled, "I'd be a Red Sox fan."
Jensen Ackles - An Underrated Actor
Did you know that Supernatural's Jensen Ackles had recurring roles in not one, not two, not three, but four popular series before landing the part of Dean Winchester? Yup! Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives, Alec on Dark Angel, C.J. on Dawson's Creek, and Jason Teague on Smallville. And he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy three times! Back in the day, Jensen was runner-up to Tom Welling for the role of Clark Kent on Smallville. OK, if this kid isn't fated to be a superhero, we don't know who is! Jensen lost out on Choice Breakout TV Star to Zac Efron at the 2006 Teen Choice Awards, we think this trooper deserves something for honorable mention.
he's so sexy!

Bad Day at Black Rock - my review
It was the third episode of the third season last night and let's just say...the episode kicked butt! It was great! One of the funniest episodes!
Here's a summary about the episode: Sam and Dean come in contact with a rabbits foot that gives them good luck until a thief steals it from Sam, giving him bad luck. His bad luck continues when he's kidnapped by the mentor of a hunter who believes he still has his powers.
Okay, to start off: I love the fact that the episode dealt with a rabbits foot. The concept is just so funny that these two, tough guys have to find a little, old rabbits foot. It kind of sucks for Sam since he was the one who got all the bad luck: tripping, gets gum on his shoe, losing his shoe, knocking over stuff, his hotel room catching on fire, and getting shot in the arm. Hmm...that's a tough day for anyone! Dean though, was freakin' hilarious! He always makes me laugh!
Best part of the episode: when Dean was talking on the phone with Bobby, you can see Sam gets gum on the bottom of his shoe in the background. Dean's talking away and we see Sam scraping his shoe against a sewer lid. Then of course the shoe falls into the sewer. Dean then gets off the phone and looks at Sam who has the most adorable, pouty face and who says, "I lost my shoe"...omg it was the funniest/cutest thing ever! I could not stop laughing! Thinking about it now still makes me laugh!
My favorite quotes from Bad Day at Black Rock -
[Dean leads Sam into a hotel room]
Sam: What am I even supposed to do, Dean?
Dean: Nothing, nothing! Come here. I don't want you doing anything! I want you to sit right here and don't move! Okay? Don't turn on the light, don't turn off the light, don't even scratch your nose!
Bobby: [to Dean on the phone] Watch out for your brother, you idjit.
[Dean hangs up and looks at Sam]
Dean: What?
Sam: I lost my shoe.
Dean: Oh don't go away angry. Just go away.
Dean: I'm Batman.
Sam: [sarcastically] Yeah, you're Batman.

The Kids Are Alright - my review
I absolutely loved this episode! It was another great introduction to Season 3 and I know this season is just going to get better and better.
Here's a summary of the episode: Sam & Dean track down changelings that are pursuing mothers and their children. A boy they protect bears a strange resemblance to Dean, which at first makes Dean uncomfortable because he once had a one-night stand with the boy's mother Lisa.
This episode was personal yet had that creepy feeling to it that we all love. Dean with a kid - kind of crazy, huh? I did love Ben though! He was so adorable and I loved how he was a mini-Dean. He dressed like Dean, acted like him, and even had his same taste in music. "AC/DC rocks"....so cute! So Ruby: I was a little shocked to see that she's a...DEMON! Yep...a demon! Sam was all ready to kill her ass but then she mentioned she could help Dean out of his deal, Sam seemed to losen up lol. I like her though! She's mysterious and she adds flare to the show.
My highlight of the show was seeing Ben though. I kind of wish he'd be on another episode this season. Dean is great with kids! And when Ben was walking away with his Mom and then ran back to hug Dean: AWWW! - that was my favorite part in the whole episode...so cute!
Another thing: the kids in this episode were so CREEPY! That one little girl (Katie?) totally freaked me out! This episode had a lot of good actors in it. It's definitely one of my favorite episodes to date! I can't wait for next week's!
My favorite quotes from The Kids Are Alright -
Dean: What? Someone had to teach him to kick a bully in the nads.
Sam: So let me get this straight. You want to drive all the way to Cicero just to hook up with some random chick?
Dean: She was a yoga teacher. That was the bendiest weekend of my life!
Sam: [trying to cover up his phone call] Oh, I was just ordering pizza.
Dean: Dude, you do realize that you’re in a restaurant?
Sam: Yeah! Oh, yeah, yeah... [lamely] I just felt like pizza, y’know?
Dean: Okay...Weirdy McWeirderton.
Dean: Come on, smile, Sam. God knows I'm going to be smiling after 24 hours with Gumby girl. [chuckles] Gumby Girl...does that make me Pokey?
Ruby: [eating a french fry] Hmmm, these are amazing. It's like deep fried crack.

Yankees season in review
Record: 94-68, second in AL East, Wild Card winner.
Defining moment: Fed up, Torre shuts the clubhouse doors on May 28 in Toronto and rips into his team, leaving veteran players stunned and whispering to each other that they had never seen the longtime skipper so angry. Torre told reporters that day that most of the address had covered tentative behavior; certainly the manager unloaded enough aggressiveness to help spur the Yankees to a Major League-best 51-25 record after the All-Star break.
What went right: The left-handed batters in the lineup awoke all around the same time, with Bobby Abreu, Robinson Cano, Damon and Hideki Matsui helping power the second-half offense. Rodriguez was the best offensive player in baseball, leading the Majors in home runs, RBIs and runs scored. Posada batted a career high .338, and Melky Cabrera gave the club energy after claiming the center field job. Chien-Ming Wang won 19 games for the second straight year.
What went wrong: Early season injuries prompted Andy Pettitte to pause and reflect that the Yankees rotation was just himself and four rookies. Kei Igawa pitched his way all down to Class A; Roger Clemens gave the Yankees just six wins after a dramatic entrance. Jason Giambi missed two months with a foot injury and started just one postseason game. Kyle Farnsworth, Brian Bruney and Scott Proctor never fit into the bullpen mix. Mike Mussina made a two-year contract look like a bad investment.
Biggest surprise: Joba Chamberlain wasn't even invited to Spring Training, but skyrocketed from Class A Tampa all the way to the big leagues by Aug. 7. Once he got there, the dominant right-hander was nearly unhittable, not allowing a run in his first 15 1/3 innings and striking out 34 batters in 24 innings. If not for a swarm of too-friendly Lake Erie midges that attacked Chamberlain in Game 2 of the ALDS, the postseason story might have played out differently.

8 Surprising Turn-Ons for Men
1. Standing Tall
Don't get me wrong: it's not that we want a woman who can balance a beer tray on her head. It's what good posture says about her. A woman who stands tall typically a) dresses well, b) exercises often, and c) is confident about her body and what it's good for. And if she's proud of her figure no matter what shape or size, that makes men take notice, as well.
2. True Grit
Men know that women cry. Men know that women can get hurt. Men want to be there to help whenever they do. But there's something insanely attractive about women who can bite their lips, buck up, and grit out some of life's twists, turns, sprains, and pains.
Note: Before you throw e-daggers my way, I'm not suggesting that it's not OK to cry or that women shouldn't seek proper attention when they're in pain, either physically or emotionally. (Nor am I saying that lots of men don't need to heed this advice as well.) I'm simply saying we're often drawn to partners who can walk off life's minor insults.
3. Baseball Caps
When we were growing up, we used them to show our team allegiances. In college, we used them to hide bed head. Past the age of 30, we mainly wear them to cover our bald spots. But no matter what team we root for, we like a baseball cap the most when it's worn by a woman. The look sends all kinds of messages about the kind of woman she is: sporty, strong, comfortable kicking back, Sox fan. (All the better if it's a Cubs hat - she's an optimist with a great sense of humor.)
4. Software Savvy
Maybe it's a giant sexual metaphor, but women like men who know hardware, and men like women who know software. Show a guy a woman who knows her way around systems, networks, and connections, and he'll be dazzled by her smarts - and appreciate her talents.
There's something sexy about a woman who can click a few buttons and get something working exactly the way she wants it to. (That is, as long as the buttons she pushes aren't his.)
5. Sexy Shampoo
Men typically are stereotyped as needing visual cues to feel attraction. While it's true that men need their share of eye candy, they also are mightily turned on by the olfactory sweets, as well. Perfume and body lotion are nice and all, but the smell of her freshly washed hair that's nestled up under the chin on a Sunday morning is a reminder of all that's good about relationships.
6. Understated Underwear
Slinky and small lingerie works for anniversaries, birthday surprises, honeymoons, and other seduce-me moments. But the look that makes men feel both comfortable and excited is when she's wearing boxers (waistband rolled) and a thin-as-can-be T-shirt that's neither too tight nor too big. Call it supreme sexiness in the understated. The same effect can be achieved by wearing his old dress shirt and a pair of panties.
7. Dirt and Sweat
Of course, men like to see their women dolled up for a night out. But many men appreciate the exact opposite: The woman who hikes, bikes, mows the lawn, hacks trees and branches, and otherwise pulls her weight. Seeing the dirt, mud, sweat, and occasional road rash is something that stokes our primal side.
8. A Few "Duh" Moments
Men like smart women (see "software savvy," above). But there's a small part of a man's brain that wants her to have an occasional dollop of ditziness. Why? Because if she can show that she may not know everything, it reinforces something deep inside a man that he's needed, that he's trusted, that he can be there to help.
And it says that when we screw up on occasion (and we will, oh yes, we will), she'll understand. Hypercompetence is something we just can't compete with. And ultimately, this game isn't about competition, it's about crossing the finish line together.

They may have lost...but I'm still PROUD!
The Yankees battled...and battled. They made it close last night...but not close enough. In each of the 4 games they played, I thought I was going to have a heart attack! The game started off rough and when a team is down 4-0 early on, that can never be a good sign. The Yankees made is 4-1 (with a Derek Jeter single!) but the Tribe answered back with runs 5 and 6, making it 6-1. The Yankees scored again when Robinson Cano hit a solo HR, making it 6-2. The Yankees hit the ball...just not in the same inning or when anyone was in scoring position! They had 12 hits for crying out loud! Arod smacked a HR in the 7th inning making it 6-3. Then they scored again (and for the last time) in the bottom of the 9th when Bobby Abreu hit a HR. Final score = 6-4. It was a good season boys. I'm proud to say I'm a Yankees fan. I'm proud that they made it as far as they did. Let's do it again next year (except go all the way next time haha). Oh, and side note: they better keep Joe Torre!

They're still in it!
Yankees won!! wooo!!! they won 8-4...Johnny D coming up big!! And that was a lovely error in right field by the ex Red Sox himself, Mr. Trot Nixon...thank you!! haha 1 down...2 to go! Come on boys...you can do it!!!!

I hate to say it...
...but the Yankees need a miracle to win the next 3 games. Do I think they can do it? They've done it before so it's possible (gotta have faith!). I was really hoping they would take Game 2 but those Indians are tough. The Yankees need to start hitting!

Supernatural is...BACK!
Wooo...the Supernatural Season 3 premiere was tonight and it was awesome! The episode was called The Magnificent Seven and it dealt with the 7 deadly sins...so interesting! Glad it's back...the eppy was great!! I was glad to see Bobby again too...he's a great character for the show! And that new female hunter, Ruby? She's pretty interesting too! She's kind of mysterious so I'll have to see how her character develops, but I like her so far!
My favorite quotes from The Magnificent Seven -
Dean: I got a year to live, Sam. I’d like to make the most of it. So what do you say we kill some evil sons of bitches and we raise a little hell, huh?
Sam: You’re unbelievable.
Dean: Very true.
Sam: Let me see your knife.
Dean: What for?
Sam: So I can gouge my eyes out. [Dean laughs]
Dean: It was a beautiful, natural act, Sam.
Sam: That's a part of you I never wanted to see, Dean.

My weekend in review...
Friday - I went to the Yankees/Orioles game and it was a great game! I can't believe the Yankees gave up a 7-1 lead...not good! They went into extra innings (because of Mariano!) and the Orioles ended up winning on a squeeze bunt by Melvin Mora...very nice may I add. I was a little disappointed the Yankees lost but I had a great time at the game! My dad and I stayed for fireworks after which were really good!
Saturday - I went shopping with my dad for some stuff for school. Mission = successful. Then that night, my sister and I went to the Montgomery Gentry army concert at Aberdeen Proving Ground. They featured Joe Nichols and Shauna Bolton and they were both great! Montgomery Gentry rocked the house though! Oh, and a drunk guy hit on me and my sister haha...good times!
Sunday - I baked some sugar cookies and watched part of the Yankees/Orioles game (in which the Yankees won!)...then I went back to school.

Dancing with the Stars...the new season begins!
The ladies did great last night and the men did great tonight! Here's my intake on each star:
Melanie Brown - I thought she did good! I might be a little bias since I love her dance partner, Maks lol, but I expected her to do okay since she's from a singing and dancing background.
Sabrina Bryan - I loved her dance! She rocked the house! I have to admit, I'm in total love with her partner Mark lol. He's so sexy!!!
Jennie Garth - She was good too. She didn't really stand out for me but she did pretty good for being the first one of the season.
Josie Maran - I didn't think she did as bad as the judges said she did. I thought she was okay.
Marie Osmond - I thought she did well! She looked like she was having a good time so that's good.
Jane Seymour - I loved her dance! She was so elegant with Tony; they make a good pair!
Helio Castroneves - I loved his dance! I thought he was so good! I've never heard of him before since I don't watch Nascar (right? lol) but I thought he did great!
Mark Cuban - He had a pretty solid dance and I was a little surprised he danced that well cause he doesn't look like a dancer haha.
Cameron Mathison - Oh so sexy! haha...he looked great and danced well. I'm hoping his shirt comes off during the show haha.
Floyd Mayweather - I thought he did better than what he got for scores. He had a lot of energy which is good!
Wayne Newton - He looked a little stiff to me but he did okay lol
Albert Reed - Can you say sexy!? He's only 22! I thought he was pretty good! I hope he makes it to the end so we can see him take his shirt off all the way!! haha
I thought everyone did really well! I'm loving this season already! I can't even pick a favorite cause I thought they all did great! I'm not sure who's going home tomorrow...I don't want anyone to leave!

Confused...
I'm so confused right now. I don't really know what to think. I want to be a teacher (I'm currently majoring in Early Childhood Education); I absolutely love kids...but, I really love photography. I've had no experience being a"photographer" though...and I haven't even taken a photography class, but I love taking pictures! Everywhere I go, I'll be thinking "Oh, that would make a great picture!"; I always think about good picture opportunities. Ahh, I'm just so confused right now! I would love to be a teacher though...teaching Kindergarten would be so fun and I've always wanted to work with kids. People have commented on both aspects saying I'm great with kids or saying I take great pictures. I just don't know what to do...

I found this article fascinating!
10 reasons why the Red Sox will collapse
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=txredsoxcollapse&prov=st&type=lgns
I just love the title of it haha =)
Dream last night...
I had a dream last night where I was on this boat with my mom and sister. I had brought my digital camera so I could take pictures. Well, the sun was about to set and in the distance a boat was trailing off and it looked so gorgeous! I grabbed my camera to take the beautiful picture but like five seconds after I turned my camera on, it turned off. I wondered why I couldn't take the picture and I realized my camera was turned off. I turned it on again, thinking I pressed the off button and tried to take the picture again. It turned off! I was so mad and kept trying to take the picture but my camera kept turning off so I never got to take the picture!
yeah, that was my dream haha...kind of random =)

Two Guys, a Girl [and a Pizza Place]
I loved this show! I wish it was still on! It was so funny. I wish it came to DVD too...cause I would sooo buy it!
Berg: Help me pick a new major. No, I'm serious. I need to make a decision, go ahead pick a major, any major.
Pete: Russian Economics.
Berg: Phew, glad that's over with.
Pete: Oh Berg, no more medical experiments.
Berg: Just remember my eye drop experiment paid for that couch.
Pete: Hey, Berg? What color would you say that couch is?
Berg: [squinting at the gray couch] I don't know...blue!?

Sad dream :(
this is my dream:
I was going on a field trip for camp and we took 2 buses for some reason, though I think we only needed one. Well, something wasn't right with the first bus so the driver put it on cruise control (that did turns and everything! haha) and everyone who was on that bus came on our bus (where mostly everyone was anyway). On the bus that everyone was on, there was some kind of tiger up front and everyone had to go up and pet it. Even the little kids were petting it. It came to my turn but I didn't want to do it. My boss said I had to but I wouldn't. So we looked at the window and the second bus that was on cruise control was a little ahead of us so my boss said I could go get the bus so it didn't get too far ahead of us. Well, I didn't wanna do that either. So my friend Mike volunteered to go get the bus. So we stopped so he could get off to run and get the bus. But it turns out the bus on cruise control was ahead of us a lot farther than we thought. Mike ran after it and we eventually couldn't even see him anymore. We all got nervous and wondered where he was. I guess no one was really nervous or anything cause we headed for home, assuming he caught up to the bus. Well, as soon as we got back, we got newspapers saying that 3 camp counselors had drowned in the lake. I started flipping out and as I read on, it said Mike, Evan, and another counselor had drowned. It said that they were on a bus but didn't see the cliff ahead. We were all in total shock. No one had any idea that Evan and the other guy even got off the bus! I started crying and blaming myself for their deaths since Mike shouldn't even have gotten off the bus in the first place. I wouldn't talk to anyone. I wouldn't eat either. I just cried and cried.

Disturb-ing dream?
I had a dream last night about the movie Disturbia, which is weird in itself cause I've NEVER seen the movie! Anyways, I was sitting on the lawn with this guy and that psycho killer guy was chasing us around the house...but we were just sitting on the lawn haha. He came around the corner and we both started to run and he like chased us through the house. I tried to run away but I think he shot me...and that's when I woke up. My heart was pounding when I woke up lol. Then of course I had to go to the bathroom and I thought "Oh CRAP!" haha... but I made it to the bathroom safe and sound so it's all good lol.

Both Derek and Brian are nominated for Man of the Year
New York Yankees: Derek Jeter
A team leader on the field and in the clubhouse, Derek has been at the forefront of myriad charitable efforts as well. His Turn 2 Foundation, which the Yankees' captain established 10 years ago, has raised more than $7 million to help children across the country. The organization is considered a model among sports charities. Turn 2 creates and finances programs that promote the development of sound academic, fitness and leadership habits among children and to caution against the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
Baltimore Orioles: Brian Roberts
Brian has been deeply involved with the University of Maryland Hospital for Children for four years. The second baseman, who underwent open heart surgery at the age of five, donates countless hours to visiting children recovering from heart surgery by talking with patients, parents and signing autographs. Looking to do even more, he created Brian's Baseball Bash, an annual fundraising event that includes an ESPNZone game card, dinner and dessert, a chance to meet Orioles players, get autographs, receive Orioles giveaways and participate in silent and live auctions.

Freedom Writers
Freedom Writers was so good! I had to watch this movie for my Educational Psychology class so I was a little skeptical about watching it. I heard it was really good and I kind of wanted to see it so I'm REALLY GLAD I had to watch it. It was amazing! I cried like a little baby! I soaked up like 4 tissues haha. It was so inspiring to watch! Great movie...I definitely recommend it!
College Life...and alcohol?
I don't drink, plain and simple. I have nothing wrong with anyone who does drink. If that's what people want to do to make themselves feel better or happy, then go for it. The only thing I don't get is why it's such a big part of the college life? I know a select few people who don't drink, but other than that, everyone else I know drinks. Am I really missing out? Yeah you feel better about yourself and you open up like you normally wouldn't, but do you really need alcohol all the time to do that for you? What's so fun about passing out and not remember the night before? What's so fun that you can't even walk back to your dorm by yourself? What's so fun about puking in the bathroom at 3am in the morning for hours? Yeah you have a great time when it's happening, but the effects afterward don't seem like a good time to me. I know this might not happen to a lot of people, but I know plenty of people to whom it has happened. Sometimes I do feel like I'm missing out when everyone is having a good time. But then I really think about it and I'd rather not put myself through that. I'd rather not wake up in someone else's bed not knowing where I am. I'm rather not spend hours in the bathroom puking my guts out. That just doesn't sound appealing to me. I know not every single person does it, but it does happen a lot...especially in college. Drinking is all college kids talk about. Everywhere I go, I hear the word "drinking". Is drinking your life through college really that important? Maybe I just missed the memo. I guess everyone has their own opinion on this topic...and that was mine.
I know this was a completely random post, but I was thinking about it last night. I thought maybe I'd write my opinion here and get other opinions as well.

Two of my favorite people!
Jared Padalecki (#1) presented the TV Movie award at the Teen Choice Awards and the winner was...HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2! So...of course Zac Efron (#2) was there and he looked so good...so did Jared! <---I love those guys! :)
Back at school...here we go again!
I'm back at school! I moved back yesterday and classes started today. Here we go again...

August 10th - Orioles/Red Sox game!
I went to the Orioles vs. Red Sox game last night...and it was a good one! My dad got tickets that were in the MASN box down the right field line. After about half an hour, the lady in charge gave us different tickets and said we could go down and sit by the field if we wanted to...of course we wanted to; they were right behind home plate! I got some great pictures. It was such a good game. The Orioles took a 1-0 lead going into the 8th inning (it was basically a pitcher's duel...Erik Bedard pitched great!), but Boston scored 5 runs to make it 5-1. However, Baltimore came back with 4, tying the game at 5-5. Then in the bottom of the 9th, after a Brian Roberts lead off double (wooo...go B-Rob!), and a Corey Patterson sacrifice bunt...Nick Markakis hit a sacrifice fly to score Brian and to win the game! Here are some pics from the game:

Crazy day!
It was a crazy day today. A storm hit us at camp and it was down-pouring! The rain was heavy and there was so much wind...I got soaked! And of course, I had to get my kiddies' backpacks so I got even more wet as I ran up to get them. It looked like I had jumped in the pool <---I was that wet! I had a pretty good day though, despite the rain.

"All I Can Do"...
"I know some people say,
That opposites attract,
If thats the truth then we,
We will be together forever.
It's like I've got nothin to do but think about you.
I've got all the time in the world.
If you look in my heart,
You'll know from the start,
That it's all I can do,
Not to think about you."

Back from Myrtle Beach!
I'm back from vacation! It was a much needed vacation but I'm glad to be back. Here are some Cheers and Jeers from Myrtle Beach (I'm sure I'll think of some later too):
Cheers
-Mini-golfing: I love to mini-golf! It was like pulling teeth to get my family to go though lol, but they went! And we had fun! I came in second, while Kayla and my Mom tied for first. It was fun though!
-Regular golfing: Last time I went golfing down there, it was really hot and I didn't enjoy myself. But for some weird reason, I actually had fun this time! The weather was pretty good the first day we golfed - kind of hazy and cloudy but not bad at all. The second time we golfed was a little sunnier (as you'll find out in a Jeer), but it wasn't that bad either. I had fun! I'm not the best golfer but let's just say when I didn't like a shot, I had my ways of getting it closer to the hole.
-Taking pictures: Definitely one of my favorite things to do...anywhere! I love taking pictures! I took pictures of everything!
-Getting souvenirs: I got Myrtle Beach playing cards and a Myrtle Beach hat.
Jeers
-The hot weather: Yes, I know - that's what it's always like in Myrtle Beach. I'm just not a fan of hot weather! In fact, summer is my least favorite season lol.
-The long car ride: I hate the car ride! It was something like a nine hour drive and that is just too long! It gets boring and there's nothing to do!
-Getting sunburn: I got sunburn while playing golf the second time. It's not bad or anything, but it's a little painful (I won't lie)...more yesterday than today, but still!

All-Star Game!
The American League beat the National League last night 5-4. It was a pretty good game to watch! The NL even made it interesting in the bottom of the 9th inning having the bases loaded. AL got out of it though and kept their winning streak alive.
-Derek Jeter was 1-3
-Jose Reyes was 3-4
-Ichiro Suzuki went 3-3 with 2 RBI, an inside the park HR, and he won MVP
-Brian Roberts was 0-2 with a walk but he did score a run on Ichiro's HR!

Phillies help with tarp - unbelievable story!
Aww...that was such an amazing thing the Phillies did! The Colorado Rockies grounds crew went to put the tarp on the field, but the winds were too strong and took people under and the tarp went wild. The Phillies saw this and ran out onto the field in the rain to help. Such a great story. You can watch a video of it and read the rest of the story here.
Great book
Body Count by P.D Martin is a GREAT book. I just finished reading it and I loved it. It was so interesting and exciting, I never wanted to put it down! I wrote about it in my other post, where I wrote about the others book I have already read this summer. If you're interested in checking it out (and you should be...it was great!), you can go here.

Fireworks - from my backyard
Transformers
Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! I thought this movie was great! I didn't really know what to expect before seeing it. I like scifi and it looked pretty good. I had seen previews for it but they seemed kind of confusing. I'm so glad I saw it though! Shia LaBeouf was great! I thought he did a fantastic job! I also loved Josh Duhamel (of course...always do!). I also thought Megan Fox did a great job as well! I definitely recommend this movie!

Trying to forget (new poem I wrote)
There’s so much I want to say to you.
You broke my heart without even knowing it.
Now I’m trying to pick up the pieces,
But it’s hard having to move on,
Since the feelings I had won’t go away.
I tried and tried to get you out of my mind,
But nothing seems to be working,
Since everything reminds me of you.
I think of you all the time,
How you have that smile,
A smile that lights up my world,
And those eyes,
Eyes that shine right through me.
I’m trying to forget. I want to forget,
But I can’t.
You broke my heart without even knowing it.
Now I’m trying to pick up the pieces,
But it’s hard having to move on,
Since the feelings I had won’t go away.
I tried and tried to get you out of my mind,
But nothing seems to be working,
Since everything reminds me of you.
I think of you all the time,
How you have that smile,
A smile that lights up my world,
And those eyes,
Eyes that shine right through me.
I’m trying to forget. I want to forget,
But I can’t.

Congrats to Derek and Brian!
Congrats to both Derek Jeter and Brian Roberts for making the All-Star team! Derek is starting at shortstop and Brian is a reserve for 2nd base! They both deserve it...congrats! :)
Nineteen Minutes
I just finished Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. It's one of my new favorite books. I loved it. You can read more about it here.

Smokin' Aces?
Um, one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen. It was confusing and there was too much going on. I expected something totally different. Not a good movie. I was disappointed. The previews made it look good. It was sort of interesting, I'll give it that, but with all the great actors in it, I expected something better.
Only good part of the movie = Ryan Reynolds

Beat by a little kid...
I went to the driving range with my Dad today and there was this little kid there who couldn't have been more than 6 years old who could hit the golf ball better than I could! It was kind of depressing actually...I'm not a golfer, okay!? He had his own little golf clubs and everything! He was pretty good...not like amazing anything but for a little kid, he was good.

Yankees/Orioles game!
I went to the Yankees vs. Orioles game yesterday (June 26th), which also happened to be Derek Jeter's birthday!...so Happy Birthday Derek! He was 2-4 so he had a pretty good night! I'm sad to say the Yankees lost though in the 9th inning when Scott Proctor walked in the winning run for the Orioles. Though I was pretty depressed the Yankees lost, I had a great time! Here are some pictures from the game:

First day of camp!
Today was offically the first day of camp. I worked a long 9-hour day and I'm exhausted! Today was quite interesting to say the least. I was with the 5 and 6 year olds and they were all new! But during lunch my favorite camper from last year walked in. I was so excited to see him! That made my day a lot better! We have a lot of interesting campers this year. One kid never shuts up. Another kid stepped on his own glasses and broke them. I think one kid has A.D.D...seriously! Apparently, everyone wants to be "line-leader". This is going to be an interesting summer!

The Dead Zone
Okay, there haven't been new episodes of The Dead Zone in like forever! I was really excited that it finally came back! If you haven't seen tonight's episode and plan to, I suggest you don't read on any further. I'm 50-50 about the episode. I thought it started off great. Johnny kept saving Walt and after he saw no vision of him dying a third time, I took a deep breath and relaxed. Then Johnny saw Purdy die. He is just "okay" in my book so I wasn't too upset he was going to die. But HE didn't die, Walt did! Walt died saving Purdy. I am so depressed about it since I had no idea they would kick off the new season by killing off a regular...my FAVORITE regular. Walt was my favorite character. I cried like a little kid when he died. The death was unexpected and I still don't want to believe it that they killed him off. That's why I'm 50-50 about the episode. Up until the end, I loved it! But I hated it for the fact they killed off a great character! I'm still pissed they killed him off! Curse you USA network, curse you!

Sanctuary (new poem I wrote)
The soft sand beneath me,
With blue waves crashing down,
It’s all a surreal dream,
One with no worries,
No problems about life,
About love, about hope.
And the clouds pass by,
As if nothing is wrong in the world.
And I sit in my sacred spot,
My peaceful getaway,
From a world with hate,
With crime and dishonesty.
But sitting here, away from that world,
Reassures me about what is good,
And that everything is calm here.
With the soft sand beneath me,
With the blues waves crashing down,
Here is where the world stops,
For serenity, for those memories we long to cherish.
And by just sitting here,
I know that everything will be all right.
With blue waves crashing down,
It’s all a surreal dream,
One with no worries,
No problems about life,
About love, about hope.
And the clouds pass by,
As if nothing is wrong in the world.
And I sit in my sacred spot,
My peaceful getaway,
From a world with hate,
With crime and dishonesty.
But sitting here, away from that world,
Reassures me about what is good,

With the soft sand beneath me,
