Books I read this summer (2008)

(1) You've Been Warned by James Patterson -
Another new favorite! I loved the fact that the main character was a photographer; it made it really interesting to read! The storyline was kind of weird at parts but that's what I loved about it; it threw you for a loop sometimes and I loved the twists in it. Great book! (2) 1st to Die by James Patterson -
I got so into this book; it was really good! The ending was great and the storyline had so many twists and turns! I'm still a little mad at the end (it was so sad!) but the book was great! You can get a summary here: 1st to Die at Amazon.com

(3) 2nd Chance by James Patterson -
I finished the second book of the Women's Murder Club series and it was another good one! The storyline was there, along with twists and turns. The books keep you guessing and I love that! You can get a summary here: 2nd Chance at Amazon.com

(4) 3rd Degree by James Patterson -
The book started off a little slow for me but it definitely picked up! I don't want to give anything away but I was surprised and sad something happened. It was an interesting twist for the series though...still a pretty good book! You can get a summary here: 3rd Degree at Amazon.com

(5) 4th of July by James Patterson -
Another great book in the series! I liked this book because it dealt with two different crimes and it was interesting to read about and see how Lindsay dealt with them. The book had some twists and turns which made it even more interesting! You can get a summary here: 4th of July at Amazon.com

(6) The 5th Horseman by James Patterson -
Another good book! James Patterson does not let me down! The storyline was interesting and kept me guessing! You can get a summary here: The 5th Horseman at Amazon.com

(7) The 6th Target by James Patterson -
The book was a little confusing sometimes since there were a couple storylines going on at the same time but all the storylines were interesting! The ending was exciting and kept me wanting to read on. You can get a summary here: The 6th Target at Amazon.com

(8) 7th Heaven by James Patterson -
Another great book in the series! The storylines in this one were really interesting and the end was definitely exciting (his 8th book in the series comes out in 2009 and I can't wait to read it)! You can get a summary here: 7th Heaven at Amazon.com

(9) A Stolen Season by Steve Hamilton
I was really excited to hear Steve Hamilton had another book in the Alex McKnight series! I hadn't read one of his books in a while so I kind of forgot a few things but I'm glad I read this one! The storyline was great and there were some twists and turns I never saw coming! I love the character Alex McKnight and I hope there's another book in the series soon! You can get a summary here: A Stolen Season at Amazon.com

(10) Along Came a Spider by James Patterson -
So I took a break from James Patterson but I'm back! I'm starting the journey of reading the Alex Cross series and after reading the first book, I can't wait to start the second! Along Came a Spider was really good! The storyline was interesting and there were definitely some twists! You can get a summary here: Along Came a Spider at Amazon.com

(11) Kiss the Girls by James Patterson -
What can I say? Another good book! I'm definitely liking the Alex Cross series so far and this second book kept up the twists and turns, just as the first one did. I liked this book a lot because it kept you guessing the whole time! Just when you think you're right about something, there's a twist! James Patterson has done it again! You can get a summary here: Kiss the Girls at Amazon.com

(12) Jack and Jill by James Patterson -
This was a nice way to end my summer reading. Jack and Jill ended up being pretty good! It started off a little slow and sometimes I felt there were too many storylines and too many "characters" so it was a little confusing, but overall, I liked it! The ending was definitely interesting with a couple twists too. You can get a summary here: Jack and Jill at Amazon.com
