30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 12

Day 12: a picture of your favorite memory

I moved after my sophomore year in high school, and when my Dad told me we were moving, I was completely devastated. I thought going to a new high school in the middle of my four years was going to be the worst thing ever. I'm happy to say: I was wrong. I had some of the best times playing softball on the varsity team during my junior and senior year. This picture was taken during my junior year when my favorite two coaches (ever) were there as well. They both moved away after junior year, making my junior year a little more enjoyable than my senior year (although I still loved senior year as well). All in all, I had some GREAT memories playing on this team.

Possible bridesmaid dress?

Here is a possible bridesmaid dress for me (in black)! I just hope I can fit in it when the time comes! I don't have to buy it for a few months, but I hope to be skinner by then so it won't be a problem.

Cross your fingers!

Step it up!

Okay, I REALLY need to step it on on the weight-loss train. I was just sent bridesmaid dress possibilities, and as of right now, I would look terrible and fat in all of them! I really need to stop "random" eating and not eat when I'm bored.

Come on Kels, you can do this! I'm pretty good about working out (I love my Biggest Loser Challenge and Just Dance 2 for the Wii), but it's the eating that is not helping me move in the right direction. If I can just eat less (and not when I'm bored), I would see results.

I can do this.

I can do this.

I can do this.

...we'll see.

;)

Funny quotes.

"I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three." - Elayne Boosler

"I just broke up with someone and the last thing she said to me was, 'You'll never find anyone like me again!' I'm thinking, 'I should hope not? If I don't want you, why would I want someone like you?'" - Larry Miller

"Relationships are hard. It's like a full-time job, and we should treat it like one. If your boyfriend or girl friend wants to leave you, they should give you two weeks notice. There should be severance pay, and before they leave you, they should have to find you a temp." - Bob Ettinger

"Sometimes I think war is God's way of teaching us geography." - Paul Rodriguez

"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends; if they are okay, then it's you." - Rita Mae Brown

"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant? I'm halfway through my fishburger and I realize, Oh my God....I could be eating a slow learner!" - Lynda Montgomery

"Why is it that when we talk to God we're said to be praying, but when God talks to us we're schizophrenic?" - Lily Tomlin

Question of the Day - #12

#12 - If you could be the best at anything in the world, what would you choose? Why?

I'd probably have to say photography. I love taking pictures as a hobby. It's so relaxing, and it's a great way for me to express myself. I would love to be really, really good at photography. I'd want to be that well-known name people would want taking their pictures.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 11

Day 11: a picture of something you hate

Go Yankees! :)

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 10

Day 10: a picture of your most treasured item

That would be my mint green bunny named Bunny. I've had him since my first Easter. He doesn't look like that anymore since he's 23 years old; he looks like he's been loved for a long time haha.

He's irreplaceable. :)

A nice, relaxing weekend ahead.

I have no plans this weekend, and I'm pretty excited about it! I'll go to the library to return books and pick up some on hold, but that's about all I have planned.

I love a nice, relaxing weekend.

Hump day!

At last, it's HUMP DAY! Today is Wednesday, which means it's halfway through the week. 2 more days of school. We have a half day on Friday, and I usually never look forward to it because we're with the kids from 1-6 instead of 3:30-6. However, we're having a "Valentine's Day" themed-day, so I'm kind of excited! I got Dr. Seuss Valentine's Day cards to hand out so that's always exciting!

No plans this weekend, but I'm okay with that! I'll catch up on TV and maybe watch a movie or two!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 9

Day 9: a picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

And that would be my mom. She's always there for me when I need her. She's helped me through school, and when I was stuck on something, I valued her creative opinion.

Carrie's engagement party.

Last night was Carrie's (surprise) engagement party! It was a little awkward sometimes because I didn't really know anyone, but other than that, it was fun. I met Rob, Ed's friend, who I think I'll be walking down the isle with in the wedding. He seems nice.

Boyfriend potential? We will see.

hehe.

:)

Super Bowl Sunday.

Green Bay Packers

vs.

Pittsburgh Steelers

...who will win? Doesn't matter to me since the Patriots are not playing. It should be an interesting game though!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 8

Day 8: a picture of your night

Every night before I go to bed, I read. Right now I am currently reading the 7th and final Harry Potter book (Deathly Hallows). I have a list of 9 books I want to read after Harry Potter so I should be good for a while!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 7

Day 7: a picture of the person you do the most screwed up things with

I don't really do that many crazy things, but I guess I'll pick Kayla since we're sisters, and we've had more time together than anyone else.

February...I already like you better than January!

I got my second whiff of good news already. My dad called and told me my car was fixed! He only dropped it off yesterday, and he thought it would take 3 days (so I might get it Wed?)

Well, the guy called already and said it's ready!

I'm getting my baby back tonight...yayyy! :)

Keep coming February ;)

Ice ice baby!

Schools are closed today: Code blue! I have to work 2-6, which isn't too bad. Initially it was a 2 hour delay, but I'm soooo glad that changed because my driveway is literally a sheet of ice. Hopefully by 1, the ice will be gone!

Thank you February for starting off with some good news; keep it coming...I need it!

:)
