Question of the Day - #16

#16 - If you could be transformed into any animal for one day, which animal would you select? What kind of experience would you expect?

I would like to be a bird because then I could fly and travel pretty much anywhere. I'm not really sure what I would expect, but I would like to just fly and view the world from the sky; I think that would be kind of cool.

Question of the Day - #15

#15 - When did you ever immediately "click" with someone you just met? What was the long-term result? To what do you attribute that kind of connection?

I probably last "clicked" with someone right off the bat when I met Carrie. She was in one of my education classes, and I really liked her children's book so I told her that. She came off as a really nice person.

The long-term result is that we're best friends! I was just in her wedding a couple weeks ago. We roomed together our senior year of college too. We just get along; she's the type of person I can tell anything too. She wouldn't judge me either.

I think we "click" because we're both easy-going people. Also, we both are both Early Childhood Education majors so we have that in common as well. When one of us stresses, the other one can calm them down; we balance each other nicely.

Creative spark.

Today I am feeling creative. I'm going to take some new pictures, and write some new children's poems.

He's the 28th player to reach 3,000 hits, and he's the first Yankee to do so!!

I'm so proud to be a Derek Jeter fan!!!!! <3

Question of the Day - #14

#14 - What was the first movie you saw in a theater?

Jurassic Park, which ended up scarring me for life! I don't think I've seen that movie since (maybe bits and pieces), but I have no desire to watch it again. I think I saw it when I was 5 so I was pretty much doomed for the rest of my life when it came to dinosaurs! haha ;)

A favorite.

I was just looking through my poems, and here's a favorite I came across:

Goodbyes

Goodbyes are not forever,
That’s what you would always say,
And I would have believed you,
If you didn’t leave that day.
You said you were coming back,
So you never said goodbye,
But it’s been days and weeks,
I’m still living with your lie.
I sit alone and wonder,
And I think of all the ‘whys’,

Numb3rs.

I think I'm obsessed. Numb3rs is such a fascinating show; it's addicting to watch.

The story lines keep you guessing, and the characters are fun to watch.

I wish it wasn't canceled.

I'm in the middle of watching season 4, and there's 6 seasons; I don't want it to end!

Even though I can't understand Charlie and his Math half the time, the show is so interesting to watch!

1st week of camp = done :)

The 1st week of camp is officially done!! Besides all of the paperwork, it went really well! We have a pretty good group of kids, and my staff is good too!

I think it's going to be a good summer.

Camp starts tomorrow!

Yikes!!

I'm nervous.

I hope everything goes okay; I'm sure SOMETHING will go wrong, but it's the first day, so that's expected haha.

Last day.

Tomorrow is my last day with my kiddos. I can't believe how quickly the school year has gone. It's been a great first year as Director though; I had a good group of kids, the parents were nice and welcoming, and my staff was great.

Now it's on to camp...ugh.
