My top 10 favorite "singing" songs

Don't you have those favorite songs that you just love to sing to? If one of them comes on the radio while you're driving, I'm sure you turn it up and belt it out like you're auditioning for American Idol (you can admit you sing in the car; we all do it!).

Well, here are my [current] top 10 favorite songs to sing to:

1. Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson
2. 15 Minutes of Shame - Kristy Lee Cook
3. One Step at a Time - Jordin Sparks
4. Someday We'll Know - Mandy Moore and Johnathan Foreman
5. I Thought I Lost You - Miley Cyrus and John Travolta
6. No More Protecting My Heart - Jamie O'Neal
7. Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
8. Candles - Hey Monday
9. Someone Else's Life - Jo Dee Messina
10. 7 Things - Miley Cyrus

(I didn't plan the fact that the first 3 songs are by ex-American Idol contestants, which 2 out of the 3 won on their season)

Now, don't get me wrong, I love other songs and this list could change from day to day, but as of right now...these are the songs that I love to sing to (even though some may be older songs).

Question of the Day - #3

#3 - If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven't you told them yet?

I don't think there's really anything important I haven't told anyone yet; I tell my family I love them all the time. My friends know how I feel about them too, so it's not like I'm keeping secrets. I might possibly want to tell someone off haha. There are a couple people who annoy me, so maybe I would want to tell them how annoying they are. The reason for not telling them is because even though I'm honest, I don't like hurting people's feelings. As much as I would love to bring them down a peg, it wouldn't be my style to come out and say rude things.

Spring semester begins.

Here we go again. The spring semester offically started today. I think it's going to be a good semester. I say that now, only after having one class lol. Ask me again in March, and I might have a different opinion haha.

My first...nightmare??

Okay, so a couple of nights ago I guess I experienced my first "nightmare".

Here it is:

In my dream, I lived across the street from some juvenile delinquent school so the kids were crazy and criminals apparently lol...anyway, we were out walking and when we got home, I wanted to take a picture of raindrops...well, we saw 2 kids getting in a fight so my Mom ordered us inside but before we could shut the door, a kid in a blue t-shirt comes running through and goes up the stairs (one of the kids in the fight) and the other kid comes running in after. Before they could do anything to each other, my Mom grabs them both and yells "NO! NO! NO! Get out of my house!" haha but the one boy brings out a scalpel and cuts the arm of the other kid (not deep or anything) so they're walking down the stairs and I'm standing by the doorway and all of a sudden the kid with the scalpel stabs me in my side.

And thats when I woke up cause I really did like flinch and reach for my side!! It was like I was really stabbed!! Then I was like breathing heavy after that, not a lot but it just something crazy to experience. And that's my first "nightmare".

I'm finally 21!!!

It's official; I turned 21 yesterday, January 9th. It was kind of exciting, not gonna lie. I'm old enough to buy alcohol, which I tested when I went out to dinner last night. We went out to Applebees, and just to warn anyone who wants to have a 21st birthday there, they do sing to you! Yep, I learned that the hard way. My waitress announced loudly to the entire restaurant that it was my 21st birthday and had everyone sing; can you say embarrassing!?...I can! It was fun though (and I definitely won't forget it); I ordered a piƱa colada, which was very good. Overall, I had a great birthday!

Question of the Day - #2

#2 - Do you believe in ghosts or evil spirits? Would you be willing to spend a night alone in a remote house that is supposedly haunted?

I do believe in ghosts and evil spirits. I love scifi and the supernatural, and I think ghosts and those such things can and do exist. I've never seen one myself or anything, but I think people have when they claim they do. I think it would be kind of creepy to see a ghost or something but also interesting at the same time lol. And to answer the second part of the question: heck no! I'm such a scaredy-cat; there's no way I'd spent a night alone in a supposedly haunted house. You probably couldn't pay me enough to do it either. I wouldn't even go with someone else so to do it by myself, what are you, nuts!?
